Dr. Upreti is the founder and CEO of iM3NY’s R&D partner, C4V, with over 22 years of experience in developing and commercializing technologies. He serves as a board member, adviser, and investor in innovative technology companies, where he focuses on establishing strategies to accelerate commercialization. Dr. Upreti has authored more than 100 articles in international journals and holds 25+ US/International granted patents, with approximately 1500 cross-citations. Several of his patents are well-indexed in encyclopedias such as Wikipedia.
He frequently presents talks and chairs conferences on energy storage technologies and entrepreneurship. Dr. Upreti has been deeply involved in building the North American supply chain for cell manufacturing and develops strategies to engineer new technologies. He has solid experience in taking inventions from the bench-top to commercialization. Additionally, he has closely collaborated with USA National Labs and has extensive expertise in new product and method development in and around Li-ion technology and energy storage.
