Dimitris Horiatis currently represents the Kingdom of Bahrain as the US Director of the Bahrain Economic Development Board. He has over a decade of experience in international business development in positions of increasing responsibility. In his capacity as an Economic Development Officer, he has collaborated with senior government officials to attract Fortune 1000 companies and Technology Unicorns to international markets including the UK and Hong Kong. Dimitris has also worked in Banking and the Pharmaceutical sectors within sales and marketing roles.

He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from Sacred Heart University. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his son and paddle boarding in the summer.
