Daniela Kandel is the Founder and CEO of Evergreen Innovation Platform (EIP) that is revolutionizing the future of smallholder farmers through the transformative power of innovation. EIP sources innovative solutions to enhance smallholder farmers' resilience and leverages its global partnerships for optimal outreach.  Previously, as Senior Director at Start-Up Nation Central (SNC), Daniela led the organization’s ecosystem-to-ecosystem work, developing global bridges between innovation ecosystems by leveraging Israel's unique assets and capabilities. She spearheaded the Global Finder Network and Impact Bridges that highlighted Israeli technologies’ positive contribution to global social and environmental challenges. Prior to that, as a Milken Institute Fellow, Daniela worked at the Israeli Ministry of Finance, the Accountant General’s Department, focusing on financial innovation, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing. There she was involved in developing Israel’s first social impact bond for the prevention of Type 2 Diabetes. Daniela holds an M.A. in financial economics and a B.A. in economics and statistics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
